My Lovely Mum

Mum, even though it is seven years since you left us I still can't believe you have gone from my life. I miss you more now than ever. There is hardly a moment goes by that I don't think of you. You were my best friend and such a wonderful caring lady, I could never have asked for anyone more devoted than you. As I promised you the day you closed your eyes forever, I will always make sure that dad is ok and that I will look after him for the rest of his life, this I hope you are happy with, I do try my best but do have to keep him in line sometimes (just like you did )!!! Dad is just fine though mum, I think you would be so proud of him. I know he misses you as much as I do mum but he is doing so well.
Miss and love you more each day. I get through things by believing you have gone to a much happier place now which gives you relief from pain and a good laugh with John and Megan

Memories

Cilla,

A true friend who I miss terribly. We had great times together going to watch musicals in London and Birmingham. I remember standing outside the theatre in London after watching Phantom of the Opera and the pair of us were speechless at the performance we had just watched and vowed to go again. We had such wonderful times in sussex and remember how she was shocked when she heard a member of the royal family swear!! Her face was a picture !!. I wish she could have been here for me in the past five years but Helen has taken on her role as a wonderful lifetime friend
